Then off by bus miles and miles across China, then up, up and up to observe the prayer flags and lovely fields of yellow Canola. The diving was good, but the real memory is of stopping at remote islands. For many of these people, the Thorfinn's visits are the only contact with the outside world. It's so incredible to see that their innocent life can still exist in our world today.

We flew into Istanbul and then another short flight to Ankara.
A bus took us to the Eclipse viewing site where hundreds of people were gathered in a festival type of environment. Everyone was given special glass to protect our eyes as we looked at the sun.
